Saint Lucia is recognized as a peaceful and politically stable nation, providing a secure environment for families and investors. Applicants can choose from various investment options, such as contributing to the National Economic Fund, investing in real estate, or purchasing government bonds.
Personal Requirements
The principal Applicant for citizenship must fulfil the personal requirements established under the St. Lucia Citizenship Investment Act 2015.
The applicant(he/she) MUST
- Be at least eighteen years old.
- Pass a due diligence background check along with their qualifying dependents over the age of 16.
- Provide full and frank disclosure on all matters pertaining to the application; Pay the requisite non-refundable processing, due diligence and administrative fees upon application.
Applicant must satisfy a minimum qualifying investment in one of the following categories:-
- The Saint Lucia Economic Fund
- An Approved Real Estate Project
- An Approved Enterprise Project A person who fulfill these requirements must not have a criminal record may then take the following steps
- Bond
Disqualified Applicants will be Any person who
- Provides false information;
- Has been convicted of a criminal offence except where the offence is a minor traffic offence;
- Is the subject of a criminal investigation;
- Is considered to be a potential National Security risk;
- Is involved in any activity likely to cause disrepute to Saint Lucia;
- Has been denied a visa to a country with which Saint Lucia has visa-free travel and has not subsequently obtained a visa to that country
Please note that The Principal Applicant may then apply for their qualifying dependants A qualifying Dependant is Any person who is a qualifying dependant of an applicant may apply along with that applicant as a dependant applicant.
Under the Saint Lucia Economic Citizenship Programme A qualifying dependant is –
- A spouse of the applicant;
- A child of the applicant or of his or her spouse who is no more than thirty years of age and who is fully supported by the applicant;
- A child of the applicant or of his or her spouse, of any age, who is physically or mentally challenged and who is fully supported by the applicant;
- A parent of the applicant or of his or her spouse who is above fifty-five years of age and who is fully supported by the applicant;
- A parent of any age who is physically or mentally challenged and who is fully supported by the applicant; and
- An unmarried sister or brother of the applicant who is below eighteen years of age and who has received the consent of his or her parent or guardian to make an application for citizenship by investment.
